Frequently Asked Questions

I have never been to Centennial Hall. Can you describe the layout of the seating sections?

Centennial Hall seats just around 2,500 people in an "American" style seating arrangement with plenty of aisles and five sections of seats. The seating sections include the orchestra (floor level, rows A-Z and AA-KK) and a non-traditional mezzanine that continues from the rear of the orchestra with no overhang (rows A-S). View the Centennial Hall seating chart.

What's the difference between the Tucson Music Hall and your new home at Centennial Hall?
The Tucson Music Hall is "Continental" style seating where all the audience members enter from the outside edges and rows are in a contiguous line. Centennial Hall is "American" style seating with aisles through the center of the theatre as well as on the sides.

One inadvertent advantage of continental style seating is leg room. The space between rows is much wider than in American seating style, but it is actually an issue of fire regulations that dictate the space required for safe evacuation of the theatre. So, the longer the sting of seats, the greater distance between rows! With American style seating, rows are closer together so the overall viewing experience is more intimate for a larger segment of the audience.

Where is Centennial Hall located?
Centennial Hall is located on the University of Arizona campus at 1020 E. University Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85721.

Where can I park?
